Spiritual Squatters

Do you know what a squatter is? It’s one who settles on property that is not his or hers.
“Squatters Rights” is a concept that someone who occupies a property owned by someone else without legal permission can eventually claim that property as their own.
Our mind is part of the temple of the Holy Spirit. Before we accept Christ, our brain is open for whoever and whatever thoughts want to come in and occupy our mind.
Squatters will come in and settle in your mind and try and take and over the land of our minds. They claim ownership without permission. That means we have left an opening in the temple and little by little, the squatters keep moving in until they have more of the good land than you do. Once we accept Christ, we have all authority over the power of the enemy (squatters in our land). “I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions, and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.” Luke 10:19
Run those squatters off your land! Once you cast them off and out, you need to be restored. God is the restorer of that house. He can renovate what’s there. From that point on, what you let in will determine if the value goes up or down. If you leave your mind vacant, anyone can come in, take over and call it theirs. You need to get scripture, prayers and worship in your heart and
mind, and the squatters will start to feel out of place. “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you!” James 4:7
