A kaleidoscope is a tube or form that you look into a small hole. Inside, you see a whole spectrum of colors and little bits of plastic. Lots of times, it’s pieces of shattered glass. As you twist and turn it, you see different angles and patterns. The pieces constantly change but create a breathtakingly beautiful image.
The kaleidoscope is like our lives-we have shattered bits and pieces. When we look at them, we see just broken pieces. When we look at the whole picture with each twist, we get a new picture for our lives. God uses the broken pieces to make a beautiful picture no matter how you look at it.
We usually just see broken, fragmented pieces of glass in our kaleidoscope but God shows us a grand design.
Accept your broken pieces and learn to adapt and live with the change. We must adjust our vision to the new pattern set before us. I will accept God’s grand design for my life.
