Fill My Cup, Lord!

Recently after praying, God gave me a picture that I am a coffee pot. (I am NOT a coffee drinker š¤·š»āāļø) When I am empty, I have nothing inside of me-nothing nutritious or enjoyable for me or to fill others. Coffee is a balance of just the right ingredients to be most pleasing. God is the perfect, hot coffee that pours into me all of His āingredientsā and balance. The Holy Spirit is the creamer stirring in my heart to make the coffee even better! God is hot, powerful and full of steam. The Bible is my filter. Pour hot, filtered coffee into me; stir in His Holy Spirit and I am full and ready to pour into others. Together we are fresh, hot and ready to go. I can then pour into others, giving them refreshing power to go. The world is full of individual coffee cups and teacups-funny ones, delicate and fancy ones, sturdy, ceramic ones. If they are in good condition, they hold whatever is poured into them. If they are broken, they need a healing touch so we can pour into them. If we choose not to pour into them, they will stay empty. If we pour into them, we pour out blessings and bring glory to the Lord. As we are emptied, we are cooling off and slowing down. Time to go back to the source and get more coffee and creamer to go again. Who is in your āpouring circleā? Will you choose to pour into them today? š¤
