Just A Simple Choice

To choose means we make a selection. We choose our friends, our career field, the cars we drive, and our spouses. We make a selection from all of our choices. Chosen means being taken in preference. Sometimes we chase after being chosen such as a sports team or a particular job or a particular person we would like to marry. We must put forth effort to become chosen. We have that desire for others to choose us.

When we have a choice to make, do we choose God? Do we chase after Him as hard as we chase after a person or a job?? Do we desire that God chooses us? Even if it’s uncomfortable?

Chosen means it’s already been done. The choice has already been made. God has chosen. He CHOSE US regardless of how hard we chase after Him. “For He chose us in Him”. Eph. 1:4 “You did not choose me, but I chose you”... Deut. 14:2 “the Lord has chosen you to be a people for his treasured possession.” John 15:16 “even as he chose us in Him before the foundation of the world” Eph. 1:3

God chose us and now we must decide if we choose Him. Today, I choose Him BACK to live as His chosen daughter!
