February is a month full of reminders and milestones. February is Black History Month. We remember and recognize where African-American people have come from and to see where they are today. We celebrate their achievements and victories. đđŸââïž
We have Presidentsâ Day where we remember, recognize and honor the achievements of past and current presidents. We look at how our country has changed. đ
Both days are important to remember because continuing to remember their history is vital since it gives us context for where we are today and where we have come from. We can see how their histories impacted our lives today and make a difference.
To me, February đ is a reminder of having had cancer twice and still being here today. Again, I can see how God in my history has impacted my life and my familyâs life today and made a difference. I am only HERE today because God was faithful back THERE. The power of being where I am today is revealed by my past with God during cancer. He is still here! I am still here. đđ»ââïž My history is my testimony of Gods faithfulness.
Every day we live on the edge of life or death. We donât realize just how close to the edge we are every single breath. Each day begins and ends without much thought but, for some of us, our past history is a gentle reminder first thing every morning. đ
Look back on your past and remind yourself how He was with you and why you are here today. Donât take being here for granted.
Everything past your first breath is a blessing. đ Nothing beyond the breath you just took is promised. đ
